Introduction
In this blog, not only will I be posting pictures, videos, and links, but I'll also be posting some of my opinion with regards to this beloved anime.
Let me start, with the whole concept...
Detective Conan aka Case Closed aka Meitantei Conan is an anime which deals with a high school student of Teitan High School named Shinichi Kudo who accidentally tries to snoop around some illegal business done by some men in black (Black Organization) but unfortunately get caught by one of his teammate. They then try to kill him by letting him take a poison (APTX 4869). Luckily, instead of dying he lives but at a youthful stage, literally. His body turned into that of an elementary student. He then asks help from Professor Hiroshi Agasa wherein at first he doesn't believe him but with some deductions finally convinced him. Now, Shinichi lives under the name Conan Edogawa and lives at the Detective Mouri Agency because Ran Mouri, daughter of Kogoro Mouri, found him without his parents present at the moment. Conan learns at the Teitan Elementary School with his group of friends [Ayumi Yoshida, Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya, Genta Kojima, Ai Haibara (shows up in the later episodes)]. Now, Conan solves cases and is finding ways to locate the Black Organization and defeat them once and for all.
My opinion for this anime is that... It's awesome. Not being biased or anything, but the way Gosho Aoyama, writer of Detective Conan, makes the anime exceptional. For starters, besides the drug that made Shinichi younger, everything is realistic. Something one can find hard in animes nowadays. Gosho also know how to write wherein the anime won't only be intended for Mystery lovers or detectives but he includes the Detective Boys for kids to enjoy, Sonoko Suzuki for people who'd want to laugh at, Eri Kisaki for those cases that are held on court, Takagi and Satou for the Metropolitan Police Detective Love Stories, and so much more. In short, it's a genre of suspense, comedy, drama, romance, and don't forget mystery. I'll be explaining more reasons why I personally recommend Detective Conan as an anime to be watched by this generation on the next part. Until then, bye! ;)
